The Unseen Series: Demons

Next up in The Unseen Series—today we’re talking about Demons!

Let’s return to the caveat I shared at the beginning of this series, because it matters deeply here:

Nothing is inherently good or bad. It is all experience.

The word demon has long been used as a bucket term for things people didn’t understand—or didn’t want to understand.
(Women, anyone? 😉)

According to Wikipedia:

A demon is a malevolent supernatural entity. Historically, belief in demons occurs in folklore, mythology, religion, and literature. These beliefs stem from humanity’s fear of the unknown, the strange, and the horrific.
A Dictionary of Comparative Religion

That definition alone tells us something important: Demons are rooted in fear and misunderstanding.

So let’s start with something essential.

What Demons Are Not

Earthbound Spirits in Emotional Distress

We covered spirits in the first installment of this series, and they belong here as the very first example of what demons are not.

Spirits who died in traumatic ways and didn’t fully cross over often carry intense emotional energy—fear, grief, anger, confusion. When sensitive people or paranormal investigators feel that intensity, it’s often labeled demonic.

They’re not evil.
They’re hurting.
They’re lost.

Misogyny Dressed as Demonology

According to folklore, Lilith was cast out of the Garden of Eden for refusing to be subservient to Adam. Because she disobeyed, she was eventually labeled a demon—evil, dangerous, even a baby eater.

Let’s be clear:

Demons are not powerful feminine figures who refused to submit to men.

That narrative is rooted in patriarchal fear—fear of equality, sovereignty, sexuality, and autonomy. Figures like Lilith, Medusa, and countless goddesses were demonized simply for existing outside male control.

The Divine Feminine is not demonic.
It was feared—and rewritten—by religion.

Energetic Vampires

Energy vampires feed on energy—emotional, physical, or energetic. They can be spirits, humans, or non-physical energies.

People with high, radiant energy are often targets—not because they’re weak, but because their energy is abundant. Energy vampires don’t know how to generate their own, so they take.

Many don’t even have malicious intent. It’s survival, not strategy.

You’ll know you’ve encountered one if you feel drained for days, weeks, or even months afterward.

These are easily cleared. My Spiritual Self-Protection practice works beautifully for removing them.

They’re not demons. They’re just vampires.

Shadow Beings / Unintegrated Aspects of Self

Sometimes what feels like a “dark presence” is actually your own shadow—unprocessed trauma, fear, or ancestral patterns rising to be healed.

Your shadow often appears in dreams.

For years, I had the same terrifying dream: I was being chased.

What stopped it?

I stopped running.

I turned around and faced it. The moment I did, I knew—it was a part of me that needed love. I believe I even hugged it.

I haven’t had a dream like that since.

It wasn’t a demon. It was my unconscious asking to be seen.

ETs That Don’t Match Human Energy

I’ll be covering extraterrestrials in the next installment, but they belong here too.

Some ETs feel cold, hyper-intelligent, non-emotional, or highly technological. That energetic mismatch often gets labeled demonic simply because it’s unfamiliar.

Greys and Reptilians are common examples. While some may fit the traditional definition of malevolence (and we will cover those down below), most do not.

Alien does not equal demon.
It usually just means not from here.

Nasty Little Buggers (NLBs)

I affectionately call certain low-vibrational entities Nasty Little Buggers—or NLBs.

Some energies are just… odd.

My personal favorite looks exactly like a demented Minion from Despicable Me. Same shape. Same grin. Grey. Translucent. But not really menacing—but mostly harmless. They brush against legs and try to scare people.

Others lower vibration through fear alone—lingering in spaces, making you uneasy without doing anything overt.

They can be creepy.
They can be annoying.
They are not demonic.

So… What Are Demons?

This may not be what you expect.
And it’s okay if you don’t agree.

In my experience, the real demon hides in plain sight.

Humans commit the most heinous acts—against each other, animals, and Mother Gaia—driven by domination, control, hierarchy, and fear. The ideology of superiority is, to me, the most demonic force of all.

Racism.
Misogyny.
Slavery.
Bigotry.
Control of bodies.
Power through fear.

There is nothing more demonic than believing you are superior to another being.

So yes—the real demon is, in my opinion, human.
But not just any human.

A human that is possessed.

The Bigger Picture

This ties directly into my upcoming posts on Extraterrestrials and Possession.

Human history has been hidden from us for thousands of years.

We are the prophecy.

Humans were seeded by many different extraterrestrial races—at least 22 by some accounts. What science calls “junk DNA” is actually dormant or deactivated non-human DNA.

Pleiadians.
Arcturians.
Lyrans.
Sirians.
Reptilians.
And more.

We carry the best and the worst within us.

The prophecy says we are meant to bridge the polarity—to unify the fragments and remember who we are.

That’s why control systems exist.
That’s why fear is manufactured.
That’s why we’re divided.

And yes—many systems of power are infiltrated by non-human forces seeking control through humans. Shape-shifters and clones.

These, to me, are the real demons—and the humans who enable them.

And Still… This Is Not a Doom Story

The vibration of Earth is rising.
We are remembering.
The systems are collapsing.

The cracks became visible after 9/11, then COVID, when millions began questioning the narrative—all narratives.

This series isn’t about fear.
It’s about clarity. Discernment.

In the end, demon is simply a label placed on what we don’t understand.

My hope is that this post helps you see demons the way I do.

Maybe you agree.
Maybe you don’t.

Either way—you don’t walk this path alone.

🖤 You have me in your corner.
If you’re dealing with something you don’t understand, you can schedule a session with me—and we’ll find out what’s really there.
